Beauty and the Armageddon

I am a reader, I feel like I always have been. I am constantly surrounded by books in both my personal and professional worlds. I have read excessively since the second grade. I have attempted, again and again, to keep a list of the books I've read and how I felt about them but so far have been unsuccessful. This is an attempt to keep track of the books I'm reading, and my thoughts about them. My goal is to publish at least one review a week (no promises though). Wish me luck!

Skype with Author Paul Volponi

Thank you technology! Today I participated in a Skype author visit with Paul Voloponi. I have only read his novel Black and White, but plan on reading more (particularly Hurricaine Song). I have participated in several other author Skype visits, but this just may be my favorite. I enjoyed how Volpoini engaged the audience, especially considering he was several hundred miles away. If you are a teacher or librarian looking for an author to speak to a group of teens (girls or boys) he just may be the author you are looking for!
