Super excited about this one! I follow Amanda Rettke on facebook and am always amazed by the cakes she posts. I have been wanting to go through this book for quite some time and and crazy anxious to make something from this book. However...I am currently in the process of moving so it may be awhile before I get to do so. However, once I do make something, I promise to post about it! Thanks Food Network, I love my prize!!

I won this book a few weeks ago and it turned up in my mailbox this week!  I really need to read Seeds of War now so that I can read Emergence.  Thanks Rachel!

What do you know, I am posting an "In My Mailbox" twice in one week.  This time I went to my local used bookstore and got 4 books for $2.15!  Amy's Bookcase really is a gem in the San Juan County area.  I love this store!

Since I rely heavily on the library for most of my reading needs, I have yet to post an "In My Mailbox."  I couldn't resist this week since I snagged 3 books for $.30.  You read that right.  3 books and I paid 30 cents!  I am pretty sure that's the best deal ever (except for free of course, but this was more fun).  It's certainly worth it to stop at local thrift store once in a while, you just never know what you may find!
